Jakarta, (23/12) – In order to handle the back and forth flow during Christmas and New Year (Nataru), PT Jasamarga Related Business (JMRB) ensures a number of readiness for rest area operations, both managed by PT JMRB and managed by partners.
Director of Building and Facilities Management of PT JMRB Tita Paulina Purbasari said PT JMRB would deploy Task Force personnel and cooperate with a number of related parties. In addition, he also stated that the rest area would continue to implement health protocols to prevent the spread of the Covid-19 virus.
“We really prioritize health protocols in the rest area. In some facilities, such as worship facilities, food courts, and restaurants, we are still implementing physical distancing. We have also implemented the Peduli Protect application in several areas,” explained Tita.
The General Manager of Operational Planning and Control of PT JMRB Meta Herlina Puspitaningtyas said the same thing. He said that apart from deploying Task Force personnel, PT JMRB was also working with the police to enforce the opening and closing of the rest area if the number of visitors had exceeded capacity.
“At the discretion of the police, we will enforce traffic engineering policies such as opening and closing if the capacity of the rest area has been maximized. In addition, we are also working with several parties to establish service posts or posts to help road users or facilitate coordination between officers,” said Meta at a press conference on Wednesday (12/22).
